The university explained that the story surfaced during ongoing first semester examinations, raising concern about safety on campus. It stressed that there was no security breach and that academic activities continued without disruption.
According to the management, the incident being linked to the university was actually a minor clash between youths from Jauro Buba and Garin Rigiya communities, which occurred outside the school premises. Security agencies were said to have intervened promptly and brought the situation under control.
The university assured parents, guardians and students that the campus remains safe and calm. It advised the public to rely only on official communication channels for accurate information and to ignore unverified reports capable of causing panic.
