Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed profound grief over the passing of retired Brigadier General Kabir Muhammad Galadanchi, a notable son of Kano State, who died on Saturday following an illness.
The message of condolence was delivered through the governor’s spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in a statement made available to journalists in Kano on Sunday.
Referring to the deceased officer as a “true patriot,” Governor Yusuf stated that Galadanchi committed his life to serving Nigeria, showing outstanding leadership and steadfast devotion to the advancement of the nation.
“The late Brigadier General Galadanchi was a revered military officer who remained devoted to the protection of our nation’s sovereignty and integrity throughout his career,” the statement said.
Governor Yusuf conveyed his sympathies to the family of the deceased, speaking on behalf of the government and people of Kano State.
He also prayed that Allah grant the departed officer eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdausi and provide his family with the strength to cope with the loss.
