Rapper Nicki Minaj may lose her $20 million Hidden Hills mansion in Los Angeles after failing to pay a debt from a 2019 lawsuit.

Court documents filed in October show that a jury ordered Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, to pay $503,318 to former security chief Thomas Weidenmüller—a sum that remains unpaid.

The lawsuit stems from an incident during Minaj’s 2019 Nicki Wrld Tour in Germany. Weidenmüller claimed Petty assaulted him backstage, breaking his jaw and requiring multiple surgeries. According to reports, Minaj had thrown a shoe at another security officer who failed to stop a fan from climbing the stage, and Petty allegedly punched Weidenmüller while he tried to intervene.

Weidenmüller says he underwent eight surgeries to repair his jaw, including the insertion of five plates. He filed a lawsuit in 2024, but Minaj and Petty did not respond, leading the court to issue default judgments against them.

Now, Weidenmüller’s attorneys are seeking a court order to sell the Hidden Hills mansion to recover the debt. The 11-bedroom property carries about $13 million in mortgage debt, and court filings state that Minaj’s net worth—estimated between $150 million and $190 million—makes her more than capable of settling the judgment.

“The dwelling is subject to a $13,258,000 mortgage lien and a $722,151 homestead exemption, together just under $14 million,” the documents read. “The property’s fair market value is appraised at $20 million, yielding approximately $6 million in equity beyond the lien and exemption. That amount is more than sufficient to satisfy the judgment, plus accrued interest and enforcement costs.”

Despite repeated requests and legal actions, Minaj has yet to pay, prompting Weidenmüller’s legal team to move to enforce the judgment and recover the owed amount.
