Adamawa State has officially sworn in 10 newly appointed permanent secretaries into the state civil service.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri presided over the ceremony on Tuesday, urging the new officials to demonstrate integrity, dedication and professionalism in the performance of their duties.
The oaths of office and allegiance were administered by the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Afraimu Jingi.
Governor Fintiri said the appointments were based on merit, stressing that the role of a permanent secretary comes with significant responsibility. He noted that the appointees are expected to play a key role in strengthening governance and improving service delivery across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn-in officials, Albert Ray assured the government of their collective commitment to professionalism and strict compliance with their oaths of office.
The other permanent secretaries inaugurated are Purity Timothy, Hamidu Njidda, Hauwa Banu, Yusuf Peter, Abdul-Azeen Buba, Regina Njidda, Abdullahi Shuaibu, Soyi Daniel and Paulina Yusuf.
