Omoni Oboli has reacted to a social media user’s bold claim that he can outdo her and some of Nollywood’s biggest filmmakers.
An X user identified as Ivankov Baboshkin confidently declared that he could create a Hollywood-standard film superior to anything produced by Omoni Oboli, Funke Akindele, and Kunle Afolayan put together. He insisted he was “100% sure” he could deliver a more compelling movie than all three.
Instead of dismissing the statement, Omoni chose a supportive approach. She told him she believed he could achieve it and encouraged him to go ahead and make it happen, assuring him she was rooting for him.
Her response has attracted positive reactions, with many applauding her humility and the way she turned criticism into motivation.
