President Bola Tinubu has submitted a new batch of nominees for non-career ambassadorial appointments.
A statement issued from the State House confirmed the updated list.
Among those selected is Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, a former Naval chief and one-time sole administrator of Rivers State.
The announcement was made on Thursday, 4 December 2025.
Other nominees include former senator Ita Enang, former Imo First Lady Chioma Ohakim, and Abdulrahman Dambazau, a former interior minister who also served as Chief of Army Staff.
