The All Registered APC North–South Progressives (ARANS-P) has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is essential for maintaining national stability and building on the direction set by the Renewed Hope Agenda.
At a national briefing, the group’s National Chairman, Chief Chibunna Ubawuike, outlined what he described as major achievements recorded across key sectors under the current administration.
He stated, “Today, we gather under the banner of the All Registered APC North–South Progressives (ARANS-P) to reaffirm our confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and to present a clear account of how far Nigeria has come under the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Ubawuike said the Federal Government had increased investment in housing through fresh partnerships and revised mortgage plans, noting that the Federal Housing Authority had received additional funding to support new initiatives.
In the health sector, he highlighted upgrades in primary healthcare facilities, wider coverage under the Basic Health Care Provision Fund and fresh recruitment of medical personnel. He added that reforms were underway to boost local manufacturing across the health value chain.
He noted, “Furthermore, maternal, childcare, pregnant mothers’ treatment, including child delivery and cesarean sessions, are free in government hospitals nationwide, even renal treatments are now subsidised in government hospitals, with state-of-the-art renal and cancer treatment equipment installed for efficient treatment and cure.”
According to ARANS-P, education has received renewed focus, with increased funding, the Students’ Loan Scheme Act and investments in digital learning and technical education. The group also pointed to ongoing agricultural projects involving fertiliser delivery, irrigation schemes and agro-processing support.
Ubawuike added that major infrastructure projects such as the Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and the Sokoto–Badagry Highway are progressing, alongside the establishment of six Regional Development Commissions.
On the economy, the group insisted that reforms, including fuel subsidy removal and forex unification, were necessary to correct longstanding structural gaps.
He said, “Already, inflation is beginning to moderate (16.84% as at October ending), capital inflows are rising, foreign reserve at over $43b net, foreign financial obligations are met with ease, and local manufacturing is gradually gaining momentum.”
He also highlighted ongoing efforts in digital skills training, talent export and ICT capacity development. On security, ARANS-P said improved inter-agency coordination and new operational strategies had produced positive results in many regions.
“The numbers speak clearly; peace is gradually returning to all troubled regions,” Ubawuike stated.
He urged Nigerians—particularly APC supporters—to rally behind Tinubu’s second-term bid, warning that reversing the current policy direction would be dangerous.
“Any other way is to plunge Nigeria into socio-political and socio-economic abyss and viral miasma. God forbid,” the group said.
