A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party leadership, headed by its chairman, Alhaji Taminu Turaki, on Saturday held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Turaki arrived at Obasanjo’s residence located within the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta alongside former Niger State Governor, Alhaji Muazu Babangida, former Plateau State Governor, Senator Jonah Jang, and other top party figures.

The delegation was received at the former president’s home at about 11:38 am before proceeding into a private session away from the public eye.

As of the time of filing this report, details of the discussions held during the meeting had not been made public.
