Terrorists have carried out a brazen attack on Isapa community in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, abducting a pregnant woman, 10 children, two nursing mothers, and several others.
Eyewitnesses said around 20 to 30 armed bandits stormed the community, moving with a large herd of cattle while firing sporadically. During the attack, an elderly woman was reportedly hit by a stray bullet.
A community leader confirmed the incident to National Pilot, stating that 11 people were kidnapped, including seven members of the same family. The abducted victims have been identified as Talatu Kabiru, Magaji, Kande, Hadiza, Mariam, Saima, Habibat, Fatima Yusufu, Sarah Sunday (pregnant), Lami Fidelis (nursing mother), and Haja Na Allah.
The attackers reportedly escaped through bush paths connecting Eruku to neighbouring communities, leaving residents in terror and confusion.
This assault follows closely after the November 2025 attack on Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), where 38 worshippers were abducted, and several others reportedly killed. All 38 church abductees have since been rescued, according to authorities.
