Anthony Joshua Safe And Sound – Ogun Police

The Ogun State Police Command has confirmed that Nigerian-born British boxer Anthony Joshua is safe following an SUV accident in Sagamu on Monday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Oluseyi Bassey said Joshua, who was seated in the rear of the Lexus SUV, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. in Makun, along the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, near Danco Filling Station and the Sagamu Interchange on the Ibadan-bound route. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

Tragically, two other passengers in the vehicle lost their lives at the scene, and their bodies were taken to Livewell Hospital Morgue in Sagamu. The Ogun State Police Command extended condolences to the families of the deceased and assured that a full investigation is underway.

Authorities have promised to provide further updates as the investigation continues.
