Bandits Kill Four, Abducts Several In Southern Kaduna
Four people were killed and 11 others abducted after armed attackers raided communities in Kachia and Kajuru Local Government Areas of Kaduna State.
The attacks, which occurred between Saturday and Monday, have deepened fears among residents of Southern Kaduna.
In Kachia, the gunmen invaded Mafofadiya and Zagom Mazuga villages, killing one resident and taking seven others away.
Witnesses said the attackers struck the communities before fleeing with their captives.
The violence also spread to Kallah and Kufana villages in Kajuru, where three residents lost their lives and four others were abducted.
Among those taken were the pregnant wife of one of the victims and her children, according to local sources.
The latest attacks have renewed concerns about insecurity in the region, with residents urging authorities to strengthen protection for rural communities.
Many say villagers continue to live in fear as kidnappings and deadly raids persist across Southern Kaduna.
