Oyo State Demolishes Adelabu’s Family Kidnappers Hideout
The Oyo State Government has demolished a building allegedly used as a hideout by kidnappers linked to the abduction of relatives of former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu.
The action followed investigations into the kidnapping incident that drew public attention across the state.
The property was reportedly identified by security agencies as a location connected to the criminals involved in the abduction of Adelabu’s sister and her children.
Authorities said the demolition formed part of efforts to dismantle criminal networks and prevent the building from being used for unlawful activities.
The state government said the move sends a strong message that properties used for kidnapping, banditry and other crimes will not be tolerated.
Officials added that protecting residents and tackling insecurity remain key priorities of the administration.
The development comes as security agencies continue efforts to track down criminal elements operating in parts of Oyo State.
Authorities have also urged residents to provide useful information that could help prevent future attacks and improve public safety.
