Arsenal continued their impressive Premier League run with a 1–0 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Eberechi Eze was the hero of the evening, scoring the decisive goal against his former club. The breakthrough came in the 39th minute when Declan Rice whipped in a dangerous free-kick that was flicked on by Gabriel Magalhães. Eze reacted quickest, firing a low volley past Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson to give Arsenal a well-deserved lead.

The Gunners controlled much of the first half, moving the ball fluidly and pinning Palace deep into their own half. Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka both came close to doubling the advantage, but the visitors held firm until halftime.

After the restart, Palace pushed forward in search of an equalizer, but Arsenal’s defence — led by William Saliba and Gabriel — remained unshaken. David Raya made a key save midway through the second half to deny Odsonne Edouard, preserving Arsenal’s lead.

Saka nearly made it 2–0 late on after a brilliant solo run, but Marc Guehi cleared his shot off the line in dramatic fashion. Despite missing chances to extend their lead, Arsenal’s composure and defensive solidity ensured they claimed all three points.

The result extends Arsenal’s unbeaten league run to six matches and ten in all competitions. With the victory, Mikel Arteta’s men move four points clear at the top of the Premier League table, strengthening their title credentials.

For Eze, it was a night of mixed emotions — scoring his first goal for Arsenal against the team where he rose to prominence. His composed finish proved the difference in a tightly contested London derby.

Arsenal will now turn their attention to their next league fixture, aiming to maintain their momentum in the title race.
