Interior decorator Queen Akeredolu has accused Eyitayo Idowu, popularly known as Thayor B—the wife of Nigerian socialite and musician Yhemolee—along with her sister and three friends, of physically assaulting her over claims of an affair with Yhemolee.
In a press statement, Akeredolu said the incident occurred on September 6, 2025, at a location in Lekki, where she had been invited by Thayor B under the pretext of discussing a project for her store.
According to Akeredolu, upon her arrival, she was met by Thayor B, her sister, and three friends identified as Tiwa, Treasure, and Funke. She alleges that after sending her staff outside, the group attacked her with belts and other objects while accusing her of being romantically involved with Yhemolee—a claim she strongly denies.
In her statement, Akeredolu wrote:
“This is a brief notice to the general public to clear the air and also debunk some unfounded rumors about me being shared. I have had to undergo the most unbelievable and painful day of my life. I underwent inhumane torture and assault from a lady named Eyitayo Idowu ‘Thayor B’ along with her sister and three friends (Tiwa, Treasure and Funke). Thayor is someone I have worked with in the past specifically June 2025. During the course of that project, Thayor informed me about her satisfaction in my professionalism and her desire to re-engage my service in designing her store.
On Saturday 6th September, 2025, Thayor texted me via Snapchat to visit a particular location which she referred to as her store in Lekki. I went with my staff to help me take account of certain things while I am in the meeting with Thayor. Upon arriving at the location, I met Thayor with four other ladies who I later found out to be her sister and three other friends. One of the ladies immediately asked my staff to wait outside which I agreed to with the thought they probably want to change their clothes.
Immediately my staff left the apartment, Thayor and her friends pounced on me and started using different objects to hit me including belts. The beating continued while Thayor continued to mutter words inferring that I slept with her husband, Adeyemi Idowu, popularly known as ‘Yhemolee’. My life flashed before my eyes, I was helpless and was pleading for my life while refuting the claim that I am having any affair with her husband. Thayor and her friends ripped my cloth and left me half naked while they continued to punch and step on me together. They destroyed my iPhone 16 Pro Max, wig, studying glasses, Zara T-shirts and other valuables I took to the apartment.
While I am currently recuperating from this traumatic experience which I never pray anyone undergo, the matter is currently being investigated by the appropriate authorities and my legal representatives are on top of the case to ensure that justice is meted for the assault and humiliating experience I went through. I admonish blogs and media platforms to desist from spreading defamatory rumors about me. I do not have any unexplainable relationship with Mr. Adeyemi Idowu ‘Yhemolee’. I offered my service to their family and have been in touch with both husband and wife regarding the next project (her store) which she promised to hire me for.
I am just a businesswoman going about my daily business professionally and with dignity. I believe that justice will prevail against Mrs. Eyitayo Idowu ‘Thayor’, her sister and her three friends (Tiwa, Treasure and Funke).”
The statement has sparked reactions on social media, with many expressing concern over the alleged assault. Akeredolu emphasized that she maintains a professional relationship with the couple and is pursuing justice through the proper legal channels.
