Nicki Minaj has stirred intense reactions online after taking to X to speak forcefully about what she described as the persecution and killing of Christians in Nigeria, while also extending her message to other parts of the world.

In a series of passionate posts, the rapper invoked her Christian faith and called for an immediate halt to the violence. In one tweet, she wrote, “On Christ the solid rock I stand. All other grounds is sinking sand. All other ground… is sinking sand. FREE THE CHRISTIANS IN NIGERIA!!!!!!!!!! STOP THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #FreeChristians,” alongside multiple Nigerian flag emojis.

Nicki continued her appeal with a broader message addressed to nations around the world, warning against further bloodshed. She wrote, “SHED NOT THEIR BLOOD ANYMORE. ALL NATIONS HEAR THIS!!!!!!!! SHED NOT THEIR BLOOD. YOU HAVE SHED THE BLOOD OF THOSE THAT CALLED UPON MY NAME. #FreeChristians.”

Her posts quickly went viral, igniting widespread debate on social media. While many applauded her for using her global platform to draw attention to alleged religious persecution, others engaged in discussions about Nigeria’s complex security challenges and the broader issues surrounding violence in the country.
