Court Orders ICPC To Arrest Ex Minister
The Federal High Court in Abuja has directed the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to arrest former Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, over allegations of certificate forgery.
The court issued the order during proceedings linked to the case, marking a new development in the legal battle involving the former minister.
The directive requires the anti-corruption agency to take the necessary steps in line with the court’s ruling.
The case centres on claims relating to the authenticity of academic credentials allegedly associated with Nnaji.
The matter has attracted public attention due to his previous role in the federal government and the seriousness of the allegations.
The latest court order is expected to shape the next phase of the case as legal proceedings continue.
Neither Nnaji nor the ICPC had publicly responded to the ruling at the time of reporting.
