New Updates In Adelabu’s Family Abduction
A suspect arrested over the abduction of Mrs Busayo Olaide, the sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, and her twin sons has reportedly confessed to taking part in the crime.
Investigators said the suspect provided details about how the operation was planned and executed.
The abduction involved Mrs Olaide and her sons, Paul and Peter, who were seized by the gang during the incident.
Security operatives later arrested some members of the group as investigations into the kidnapping continued.
According to information obtained from the suspect, the gang had initially planned to target the former minister’s mother.
The plan reportedly changed, leading to the abduction of Mrs Olaide and her children instead.
The confession is expected to assist investigators in tracking down other members of the criminal network and uncovering the full circumstances surrounding the kidnapping.
Authorities have continued efforts to strengthen security and combat rising cases of abduction in affected areas.
