Pity Fayose, Don’t Be Angry With Him – Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde has appealed to Nigerians to pray for former Ayodele Fayose rather than direct anger at him.
The appeal came after a series of allegations made by Fayose against the Oyo State governor.
The Oyo State Government, through Commissioner for Information Prince Dotun Oyelade, described the accusations as false and distracting.
It said Makinde remains focused on efforts to secure the release of abducted pupils and teachers in the state.
The government argued that the governor is concentrating on security challenges and has no interest in engaging in political disputes.
It also claimed that some of Fayose’s recent comments could undermine ongoing efforts by security agencies handling sensitive operations.
Oyelade urged residents to remain hopeful and continue supporting rescue efforts.
He added that Makinde is working closely with security agencies while maintaining his commitment to protecting lives and restoring peace across Oyo State.
