Tinubu Reforms Target Low Income Nigerians – Presidency
The Presidency has defended the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu, saying low-income Nigerians are the main beneficiaries of ongoing reforms.
Officials insist that several measures have been introduced to reduce the burden on vulnerable citizens.
According to government representatives, tax exemptions and relief programmes have been designed to shield poorer households from the effects of economic adjustments.
They said these policies are aimed at improving living conditions and supporting struggling families.
Officials from the Nigeria Revenue Service and presidential media team also pointed to social intervention schemes and subsidised programmes as evidence of the administration’s commitment to protecting ordinary Nigerians.
The government maintains that while some reforms have brought short-term difficulties, the long-term goal is to create a stronger economy that benefits citizens across all income levels.
