Nollywood actress Rita Daniels Chukwuji, mother of Regina Daniels, has declared her bid for the presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
Her manifesto, unveiled on the guild’s Instagram page, pledges to champion leadership that prioritizes protection, empowerment, and added value for members.
With almost 20 years in the industry, Rita will contest against Abubakar Yakubu, the current national secretary, in the December 6 election.
Yakubu has also shared his agenda, emphasizing improved welfare, fairer pay, and better working conditions for guild members.
The victor will take over from Emeka Rollas when his tenure ends in December 2025.
