Oloye insisted and made sure the ₦500 agbado thief consumed a cup of mixed industrial pesticide, and left him to die.

As they told the father that his son had been poisoned for stealing two pieces of corn from Oloye’s farm, the father collapsed and died out of shock. Apparently, at this time, they thought 25yo Ebenezer was dead.

Fortunately, the community swung into action, took him to Wesley Guild Hospital, where doctors neutralized the poison and stabilized him.

Turns out, the Oloye, has been a menace in the community and Ilesa Amotekun had allegedly previously cautioned him before this episode.

This happened on 31st of July at Ipetu, Ijesa.

Yesterday, the Osun Police command arrested Oloye Gbenga and have now commenced investigations to accertain charges.
