APGA Begins Aspirant Screening
All Progressives Grand Alliance has announced the screening date for aspirants seeking to contest National Assembly and state assembly positions ahead of the 2027 elections.
The exercise is part of the party’s preparations for its primary elections.
The party said screening for Senate and House of Representatives aspirants will hold on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Aspirants are expected to appear before the screening panel with the required documents and credentials.
Party officials explained that the process is aimed at assessing the eligibility of aspirants before the primaries.
The exercise is also expected to help the party settle internal preparations early ahead of the election season.
Political activities have continued to gather momentum across major parties as aspirants intensify consultations and screening exercises ahead of the 2027 general elections.
