Nigerian singer Brymo has called out Burna Boy, Davido, and other top artistes, urging them to stop hopping on every trending track for remixes.
He accused A-list stars of leveraging hit songs from emerging artistes to stay relevant, all while pretending to help these newcomers gain exposure.
On his Instagram story, Brymo wrote:
“Dear Nigerian mainstream A-listers — Burna [Boy], Davido and Co — stop jumping on every hit song in a remix, especially songs from newer acts. Let other artistes find their own way. Pretending to help them reach higher is a ridiculous watch. Stop seeking relevance in the efforts of ones who know little about the business. It’s vile!”
