Nigerian streamer and entertainer Carter Efe has opened up about his breakup with his baby mama, Emmanuella, revealing that they have been separated for over a year. The content creator shared details about the emotional and financial struggles he faced during their split, as well as his fight to remain focused on his career and his daughter, Charis.
In a series of posts on X, Carter Efe said being single has brought significant changes in his life. “Just to let you know guys have been single for over 1 year now A God is good!!!! I saw mad changes in my life. The grind was not ordinary! It was intentional and I’m not stopping anytime sooooooooooon!” he wrote.
He described the relationship as a source of frustration and loss, noting that it affected his mental health, creativity, and finances. “This lady has frustrated my whole life to the extent I trend everyday for beating a lady. For good 2 years I lost everything, I lost my mindset, I cannot think or shoot content, I got broke,” Carter Efe explained.
The streamer also revealed the heartbreak of being separated from his daughter, Charis, for three months. “Good 3 months I didn’t see my kid! CHARIS. I never let that hold me down on my grind,” he added.
According to Carter Efe, stepping away from the relationship allowed him to regain his happiness and energy, which fans have noticed in his recent activity online. “These days you guys noticed have been happy and active, it’s because I was able to move away since! I’m aggressively active. GOD IS GOOD,” he wrote.
He took a swipe at Emmanuella, claiming she returned only after witnessing his success as a leading streamer. “You left me for good 5 months only to come and see that I’m the biggest streamer in Africa. Lmaoooooooooo you wan follow me enjoy when you nor Dey there for me… Funny bitch,” he stated.
Carter Efe also shared photos of the small one-room space where he and his team slept and streamed while building their careers. “This is where we sleep everyday, me and my Team! In this one room. Hoping God will take control one day!! Until we were chased out from there. Talking to 4 people on livestream, hoping and believing one day everything will be good… I was intentional about grinding not just because of anybody but for my kid Charis to have a brighter future,” he said.
He credited God for keeping him strong during his toughest moments. “GOD IS GOOD. GOD NEVER LEFT MY SIDE WHEN THE PEOPLE I LOVE LEFT ME!”
