Liverpool slumped to a 2-1 defeat against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, extending their losing streak to three matches in all competitions and deepening concerns over their Premier League form.

Chelsea opened the scoring in the 14th minute when Moisés Caicedo unleashed a thunderous long-range strike that left Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker with no chance. Liverpool pulled level in the 63rd minute as Cody Gakpo capitalized on a precise assist from Alexander Isak to score.

The Blues secured the win in stoppage time when 18-year-old substitute Estevão finished a well-placed cross from Marc Cucurella, sparking wild celebrations. Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca was sent off for excessive celebration following the decisive goal.

Despite missing key players, Chelsea showcased resilience and creativity, with young talents like Estevão making a significant impact off the bench. The victory ends Chelsea’s recent poor run and puts further pressure on Liverpool manager Arne Slot.

Liverpool’s struggles continue, having now lost three consecutive matches, including defeats to Crystal Palace and Galatasaray, leaving the Reds’ title ambitions and consistency under scrutiny.
