Chelsea have finalized the £40 million signing of Alejandro Garnacho from Manchester United.
The 21-year-old winger has penned a seven-year deal at Stamford Bridge, with Manchester United securing a 10 per cent sell-on clause as part of the agreement.
Garnacho’s transfer follows United manager Ruben Amorim informing him that he would not feature in the club’s plans for the 2025/26 season.
He becomes Chelsea’s latest recruit after the arrivals of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, and Jorrel Hato, alongside pre-arranged signings Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, and Kendry Paez.
On joining Chelsea, Garnacho told the club’s official website: “It’s an incredible moment for my family and me to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. Joining the world champions is special—we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.”
