Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze has revealed that he reported a blogger to the police for falsely claiming he had suffered a stroke.
In a TikTok live session, Ohameze dismissed the viral health rumors and disclosed the steps he had taken against the individual responsible. He said, “I have reported the blogger to the police. I also gave the person’s details to a DSS director. This is a cybercrime, and I will hold them accountable.”
The controversy began when a Facebook user, Okwuluora 1, posted that Ohameze had suffered a stroke and was allegedly abandoned by his sons, with only his daughter caring for him. Ohameze clarified, “I don’t have three sons. Everything they said is false. I’m tired of people spreading lies about me.”
Expressing frustration over repeated false rumors, the actor added, “I will not let an idiot rubbish me like this. People need to be responsible for what they post online.”
Ohameze’s actions underscore his determination to protect his reputation and pursue legal measures against defamatory claims.
