Delta State Government’s Senior Special Assistant on Media, Ossai Ovie Success, has stirred controversy after accusing the organisers of Big Brother Naija Season 10 of manipulating the results to stop Dede from winning the show.
Ossai claimed that the reality show’s producers deliberately denied Dede the crown because Kellyrae, another contestant from Delta State, emerged as the winner of the previous season.
In a statement shared on social media, he insisted that Dede was the true winner and vowed to take legal action against the organisers, alleging that the voting process was rigged.
“Dede was robbed by the BBNaija organisers because a Delta boy, Kellyrae, won last year’s season. They didn’t want another Delta contestant to win this year,” he said. “She truly deserved the crown, not because she’s from Delta, but because she made everyone who watched the show proud. I’ll be suing Big Brother Naija on her behalf because the voting was manipulated. I’m highly disappointed in this season.”
Imisi was ultimately announced as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, walking away with the N150 million grand prize.
Despite the outcome, Ossai maintained that Dede was unjustly denied her moment of victory, insisting that her performance throughout the season made her the people’s true champion.
