Don Jazzy has officially welcomed Port Harcourt singer-songwriter CupidSZN to the Mavin Records roster.
In an Instagram post, Don Jazzy revealed that he was first contacted by CupidSZN’s father four years ago, though they only connected two years later.
CupidSZN, whose real name is Stevenson Anyinachiso, has been honing his craft and is now ready to elevate his music career. His debut EP, “MYTH ERA,” is now available.
Recalling the journey, Don Jazzy wrote:
“Four years ago, a father who believed deeply in his 17-year-old son sent me a DM to listen to his music. Unfortunately, I missed it as my DMs were full. Two years later, he didn’t give up, kept developing his talent, and destiny brought him to Mavin. After excelling in the Mavin Academy, he is now 21 and ready to take on the next phase of his musical career. Allow me to introduce the newest Mavin artist @cupidfszn as he presents his debut EP, MYTH ERA, out now.”
CupidSZN’s sound is a mix of Afrobeats and Afropop, influenced by artists like Juice WRLD. He has already gained recognition with tracks such as “Service,” “Ifeoma,” and “I Want More.”
