A Polish politician and member of the European Parliament, Dominik Tarcziñsky, has said that Nigerian Christians will be rescued very soon.
Tarcziñsky made this known in a post on his X handle on Sunday.
“Nigerian Christians will be rescued very soon,” Tarcziñsky wrote, expressing his support for US President Donald Trump’s designation of Nigeria as a country of particular concern.
The US President had cited what he described as ongoing violence against Christians and the government’s failure to protect religious minorities.
However, the Nigerian government denied that any religious group is being persecuted in the country.
On Saturday, Trump threatened military action against Nigeria if urgent steps are not taken to address the issue.
