Actress and evangelist Eucharia Anunobi has raised serious concerns about her safety, alleging that both her life and ministry are under threat.
In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday, she warned, “My life is at risk ❗ My Ministry is under attack ‼️ If anything happens to me, my property, or my family—whether in Nigeria or abroad—including physical harm or death, Apostle Psalm Okpe, founder of Fresh Oil Ministry, Egbeda Lagos, and his family should be held responsible ❗‼️ I am also ready to undergo a medical examination to confirm my chastity over nearly fourteen years since my ordination ‼️‼️”
Anunobi said she shared the video to respond to circulating reports, stressing, “I remain Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi, and any attempt to distract me will not succeed.”
She recounted that Apostle Psalm Okpe ordained her into ministry and that she served as an associate pastor under him. “Over time, I witnessed evil practices and demonic activities, especially his continued transactional ministry. The environment became toxic, and I decided to leave,” she said.
According to Anunobi, although she formally left the ministry in late 2015, Okpe allegedly continued to tell people she remained under his leadership.
She also addressed claims that Okpe had dated her for over five years, calling the allegation “malicious and vile” and saying it caused her emotional trauma. She added that the accusation is part of longstanding threats against her ministry and confirmed that she has filed a defamation suit against Okpe.
The matter comes after a leaked audio recording allegedly involving Okpe and another pastor surfaced online containing unverified statements. Okpe later apologised, saying his remarks were careless and based on hearsay.
