Igbokwe Defends Remi Tinubu On Akara Business Comment
APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe has reacted to the criticism that followed First Lady Oluremi Tinubu’s advice encouraging Nigerians to consider small businesses such as selling akara, roasted corn and kuli-kuli.
Igbokwe said he was disappointed by the public reaction, describing the wave of criticism as unnecessary.
He expressed concern over the way many Nigerians responded to the First Lady’s comments.
According to him, there is nothing wrong with honest work or starting a small business to earn a living.
He maintained that such ventures have helped many people build stable incomes over the years.
His remarks have added to the growing debate on social media, where opinions remain divided over the First Lady’s comments and the country’s current economic situation.
