The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed SP Abimbola Adebisi as the new Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for Lagos State Command.
Her appointment comes after the former Lagos PPRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, was redeployed to serve as the Force Public Relations Officer.
Confirming the new role on his X page on Monday, Hundeyin urged Lagos residents to offer Abimbola “all the support and cooperation she needs to succeed.”
Abimbola holds a degree in English Language and Literature from Tai Solarin University of Education and a Master’s degree in English Language from the National Open University of Nigeria. She has also completed professional training in Human Rights, Conflict Management, Human Psychology, and Child Protection at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre in Accra, Ghana.
