BBNaija star Kiddwaya has stirred reactions after openly admitting that he lives entirely off his father’s wealth and has no interest in working.
Speaking on the Off The Record podcast, the reality TV personality described himself as a “man of leisure” who spends his days traveling, partying, and enjoying life with friends.
“What I do for a living is that I wake up, decide what destination I want to fly to, go there with my boys and girls, have fun, drink, eat, and party — and we repeat,” he said.
Kiddwaya added that he’s no longer trying to impress anyone by pretending to have a traditional career. “I’m not interested in working. I can tell you I’m into oil and trade, but that’s not my truth. It was my truth before when I was trying to figure out how to tell the world what I do. The truth is, I’m a rich man’s son living my life January to January — just having fun.”
He emphasized that marriage wouldn’t change his lifestyle, as he plans to marry someone who shares his passion for fun and freedom.
Despite his lavish lifestyle, Kiddwaya said he works hard to maintain his integrity and protect his family’s name, noting that many in his position might have misused such privileges.
His candid self-description as a proud “man of leisure” has sparked mixed reactions online, with some admiring his honesty and others criticizing his lack of ambition.
