Actor and comedian Lege Miami has opened up about why he was left out of a video compilation made to celebrate Seyi Tinubu’s 40th birthday, revealing that his inability to speak fluent English cost him a spot in the clip.

In a video shared online, the skit maker, whose real name is Adams Kehinde, said Seyi’s team had initially recorded his goodwill message but later excluded it from the final cut.

“I’m responsible for my own predicament,” Lege said. “If I spoke good English, Seyi Tinubu would have included me among those who are fluent and wealthy. They came to my house, recorded me wishing him happy birthday, but my part didn’t make it to the video.”

He quickly defended the president’s son, urging fans not to blame him for the omission.

“Please stop tagging me; it’s unbearable. Seyi isn’t at fault — I caused it myself. Is it his fault that I can’t speak good English?” he asked.

Lege, who described Seyi Tinubu as his “paddy” and a generous friend, said he held no grudge over the decision.

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, turned 40 on October 13 with a grand celebration attended by top politicians, businessmen, and celebrities.
