JAMB Begins New Admission Update
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has started the process that allows candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination to change their chosen institutions and courses.
The move gives candidates another chance to adjust their academic preferences.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board said the exercise is part of its routine post-UTME procedures aimed at supporting admission placement for successful candidates.
It is expected to help students align their choices with their scores and available programmes.
Candidates can now apply for the change through approved JAMB registration centres across the country.
The process is open to those who wish to switch either their institution, course or both before final admission lists are released.
The board advised applicants to make careful decisions during the process to avoid mistakes that could affect their admission chances.
It also assured that the exercise will run smoothly within the admission timetable.
