Lil Nas X was hospitalized early Thursday after a strange incident in Los Angeles, where he was spotted walking along Ventura Boulevard wearing only his underwear and cowboy boots.
TMZ Hip Hop released footage showing the “Old Town Road” star wandering aimlessly around 4 a.m., pointing at the camera, muttering about going to a party, and even placing an orange traffic cone on his head.
Residents in Studio City reported a nearly naked man in the street, prompting police to respond. Officers found Lil Nas X still in the roadway, and when he charged at them, he was subdued, handcuffed, and examined by paramedics for a possible overdose before being taken to the hospital.
Authorities say he could still face charges, though he remains under medical care. His team has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident.
