Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday reaffirmed his plan to deliver democratic benefits to people across Oyo State during a visit to the Olugbon of Orile-Igbon, Oba Francis Alao, at his palace in Surulere Local Government Area.
The assurance was directed at residents of the Ogbomoso zone, whom the governor urged to continue supporting his administration as it rolls out projects aimed at improving daily life across the state.
Makinde explained that his government is preparing to begin rehabilitation work on inner roads across the five local government areas in Ogbomoso, adding that development efforts will be shared fairly among all zones.
He also spoke on the future of the state, expressing confidence that the progress recorded under his leadership would be sustained by the next administration and built upon for greater impact.

Top government officials, party leaders, and traditional rulers were present at the visit, which drew members of the ruling party and community leaders.
