Makinde Makes New Appointments
Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the appointment of Abayomi Fagbenro as the new Special Adviser on Security.
The governor also named Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi as Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company board.
The appointments were announced in separate letters signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Segun Ogunwuyi.
A statement from the governor’s media office said both appointments take immediate effect in the state.
Before his appointment, Fagbenro worked at the Department of Defense Army Network Enterprise Centre in Virginia, United States, between 2007 and 2012.
He also received military training in Chicago and earned a degree in Information Systems after studying at ECPI University and Strayer University.
Adeyemi studied Political Science at the University of Abuja and previously served as caretaker chairman and executive chairman of Oyo East Local Government.
Makinde urged the new appointees to treat their roles as an opportunity to serve the people and support the development of Oyo State.
