The mother of three said their first meeting took place at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) centre during her early university days. She had just relocated from Lagos to Enugu State University when she crossed paths with Yul, who was then a student at the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).

“Way back in school when I went to the East for my university, I’m a bookworm. It’s always been about books for me. We didn’t meet at a party or any glamorous setting, we met at a GCE centre,” she recalled.

Looking back, May described herself as a focused and academically driven young woman during that time.
