Morocco continued their impressive run at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations by eliminating Cameroon 2–0 in Friday’s quarterfinal encounter at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.

The hosts took the lead midway through the first half when Brahim Diaz found the net in the 26th minute. Cameroon pushed for an equaliser after the break but struggled to break down Morocco’s defence, and their hopes were effectively ended when Ismael Saibari struck in the 74th minute.
