NDC Raises Alarm Over Party Sabotage In Nsukka
The National Democratic Congress in Enugu State has raised concerns over what it described as a plot to weaken its structure in Nsukka.
The party made the allegation while speaking on internal developments in the area. It claimed that some members are working against its interest.
Party leaders said the situation is affecting their activities in the Nsukka zone, where they are trying to strengthen grassroots support.
They alleged that individuals linked to rival political interests are behind the disruption. The party also pointed to alleged support from opposition actors.
According to the group, the actions are aimed at creating division and reducing the party’s influence ahead of future political contests.
It said the activities have slowed down mobilisation efforts in the area. Leaders called for unity among members to resist internal conflict.
The party urged security agencies and political stakeholders to take note of the situation.
It maintained that it will continue to monitor developments and strengthen its presence across Enugu State despite the challenges.
