NYSC Suspends Niger Camp Orientation
The National Youth Service Corps has announced the suspension of the 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation Course for prospective corps members posted to Niger State.
The decision was taken because renovation work is currently ongoing at the state’s orientation camp.
The development affects corps members who were scheduled to begin their orientation programme in Niger State.
NYSC said the temporary suspension became necessary to allow the upgrade of facilities at the camp to be completed safely.
According to the scheme, the renovation is aimed at improving infrastructure and creating a better environment for future orientation exercises.
Authorities believe the work will enhance the welfare and comfort of corps members once completed.
NYSC is expected to provide further information on alternative arrangements and the next steps for affected prospective corps members.
The scheme assured participants that updates would be communicated through official channels.
