Ola of Lagos has addressed social media claims regarding the demolition of his car lot, insisting that he never attempted to claim ownership of the Skywise Group property.
In a statement, he clarified that he only leased a portion of the property for his business and that the demolition carried out by the Lagos State Government was due to safety violations, not a personal targeting.
“I need to clear the confusion circulating on social media concerning the demolition of my car lot. I never claimed I was the owner of the Skywise Group property. I only leased a section for my business. The Lagos State Government demolished the building because some safety precautions were not taken, not that I was targeted,” Ola said.
The statement follows criticism from several individuals, including activist Deji Adeyanju, who accused him of trying to claim property that was not his. Ola urged the public to verify information before spreading rumors, emphasizing that the incident was strictly a regulatory enforcement.
