Radio broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat has apologized to singer Naira Marley and announced that Agidigbo FM will resume airing his music, ending a two-year ban on all Marlian Records songs at the station.
In September 2024, Hamzat barred Naira Marley’s songs amid controversy surrounding the death of the singer’s former signee, Mohbad. Allegations at the time suggested Marley was involved, prompting the ban.
After Marley’s vindication, Hamzat retracted his stance, admitting he misjudged the situation and expressing regret for imposing the restriction.
He confirmed that Agidigbo FM will once again play Naira Marley’s tracks.
