Former BBNaija winner, Phyna, has stirred widespread concern after taking to social media to accuse a Gwarinpa hotel of mistreating her and unlawfully detaining her over a disputed damage fee.

In a series of emotional posts shared on Instagram, Phyna alleged that Dalchifit Suites in Abuja failed to protect her when a group of touts allegedly gained access to her hotel room to attack her. She claimed that the hotel was now holding her against her will because she refused to pay N3.5 million for damages she said she did not cause.

“Dalchifit Hotel in Gwarinpa allowed touts to come into the hotel to fight me, and now they are about to lock me up till Monday because I refused to pay a damage fee of N3.5m. Please, I’m in prison right now,” she wrote.

She further accused the hotel of complicity, claiming that staff gave away her room number to the attackers.

“Because I’m Phyna, I’m being forced by a hotel that couldn’t secure me. A hotel that allowed touts through the main gate, through reception, and up to the second floor to break my door. The same hotel that told them my room number — I’ve never seen that kind of thing before,” she lamented.

The reality star also alleged that despite her requests, the hotel refused to release CCTV footage of the incident to her or to the police.

“@dalchifitsuiteshotel is locking me up till Monday because I requested for the CCTV footage to confirm the supposed damage. Till now, they’ve refused to show it to the police, and after putting me at risk, they are about to lock me up at Gwarinpa Police Station,” she claimed.

Amid the controversy, Phyna posted a cryptic and emotional message reflecting her distress over the situation and her struggles this year, writing, “2025 for just take me leave Ruth.”

As of now, Dalchifit Suites has not released any public statement in response to Phyna’s allegations, but the incident has already sparked outrage and debate across social media.
