Tinubu Should Be Given Second Term – Defence Minister
Nigeria’s Defence Minister has called for President Bola Tinubu to be given a second term, saying the country will record stronger progress if his leadership continues beyond 2027.
The minister made the comment while speaking on the state of the nation after three years of the Tinubu administration.
He pointed to ongoing reforms in key sectors, saying they are beginning to reshape governance and national development.
According to him, the reforms introduced under the current government are laying a foundation that needs more time to fully deliver results.
He argued that continuity would help consolidate gains already recorded.
He added that Nigeria would be better positioned for growth and stability if Tinubu is allowed to complete a second term, stressing that the current direction should not be disrupted.
