Sowore Issues Warnings To Aso Rock
Omoyele Sowore has warned that protesters may move to occupy Aso Rock if the schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State are not rescued.
The activist made the statement on Sunday through a post on social media.
He called on President Bola Tinubu and the country’s security chiefs to act quickly and ensure the safe return of the children.
According to him, the government must treat the situation as a matter of urgency.
Sowore said the continued captivity of the pupils would be unacceptable and warned that citizens could be forced to take action if authorities fail to respond effectively.
He maintained that protecting lives remains the government’s primary duty.
The threat comes amid growing concern over insecurity and the safety of schoolchildren across the country.
Many Nigerians continue to demand stronger measures to tackle kidnappings and secure vulnerable communities.
