Ubi denied it with screenshots, but gossip blogger, Cutie Julls insists he’s lying. And if he continues the lies, she will post receipts.
Earlier, TuFab casually posted that a former music exec stole a luxurious watch at the wedding in Miami and they are about to do maximum damage control to tame the story.
Davido’s brother, quoted the tweet, endorsing it. Minutes later, blogger Bisi Balo broke the news that the person is Ubi Franklin. Even though, Cutie Julls has been on it since yesterday but not mentioning any names.
Apparently, at the wedding, Benny the Jeweller, offered him (Ubi) a pre owned wrist watch, expensive. Ubi declined to buy it. Asked for another, Benny sent his brother to bring another one, which Ubi preferred, wore it and moved on.
Later, Benny asked him for the first watch, Ubi said it wasn’t wasn’t him, that he gave the brother. The brother said it wasn’t with him.
Then Benny made a fuss, threatened to involve police and immigration. At this point, Ubi was already in London. So, he suddenly realized the watch was in his pocket, handed it over and apologized. – This is the allegation.
Now Ubi is explaining he didn’t steal anything. That the first watch was truely with Benny’s brother, it was just the one he choose to pay for that was with him. Which he shared screenshots confirming he had paid for it.
Benny too already debunked the allegations.

Cutie has threatened to post evidences if he doesn’t stop lying.
She started by saying, Ubi told Benny that, he “forgot it” in his pocket and had to call the cabin crew in London to bring out his luggage for him to check, where he found it. And that is not possible, because they won’t bring out one bag for one person mid flight.
And when they found out she had gotten the story, they started begging her to take down the posts. That, he should stop lying, other wise, she would post receipts. Because she would never go public without evidence.
But fans believe it’s just an agenda cooked at Wizkid fan base HQ. Iyanya also debunked it saying, it’s being spread by people who hate Ubi in the 30BG circle. Davido has also called it lies.
However, what’s a Nigerian wedding without the drama?. Because Cute Julls isn’t taking her foot off the pedals.
