Social media influencer VeryDarkMan has denied claims that he was pictured with billionaire Aliko Dangote in his Ratel office.
The viral image showed VeryDarkMan shirtless while Dangote appeared in a suit, shaking hands with him. Addressing the post, VeryDarkMan stated that the picture is fake and likely AI-generated.
He wrote: “This picture of myself and Aliko Dangote going viral is fake, please disregard it. I have never met Aliko Dangote, and I have no interest whatsoever in meeting him. I believe it was AI-generated with the aim of spoiling my name.”
The incident has sparked conversations online about the misuse of AI technology to create misleading content and tarnish reputations.
